About d_a_green

My background includes working as a Data Architect, Database Developer, systems integrator, data exploitation specialist and DBA, as well as tutoring and actively promoting professional development and mentoring. I have been involved in a number of technical User Groups, and occasionally present or blog about topics which interest me. When not facing a computer screen I can be found walking, usually on the moors. I take an interest in my local community and volunteer my time and skills to this end.

January meeting – Thursday 16th

Our first meeting in 2014 will be on Thursday 16th January, and we are hoping to have a series of lightning talks from user group members this month so that anyone interested can have a trial run in preparation for doing the session at SQL Saturday in March.

Hopefully you have been putting ideas together over the holiday and will be there next week to give us 5 minutes on a SQL Server related topic.

If you haven’t then there is still time to create a slide or two and maybe some demo code and come along and do a session. If you haven’t already, please let Jonathan or Annette know that you (will) have a session ready so that we can schedule the running order. It’s totally fine if you don’t want to present a session, please still come along as your feedback will be invaluable for those that do a session.
